making spaces work
Refresh. Reinvent. Reimagine.

Whether at work or at home, we all feel like a bit of a change sometimes, but to refresh, reinvent or reimagine a space demands an original eye for detail and a sense of special awareness to be done well.
Ten moves later, seven rentals and three complete house refurbishments of my own, has confirmed my passion of making spaces work.
My views and guidance are based on my own experience and innate understanding of space, colour, design, eye for detail and what is ‘going to work’ in a certain setting.
Friends and family have constantly suggested I turn this passion to helping others. With two grown up children and one taking GCSEs, my latest personal cottage project nearly finished, that time has now come!
I have thrived in my new (ish!) surroundings of the magical Devon countryside and from ordered Oxfordshire to the colours, texture, nature and the wild, windswept open spaces of Dartmoor, I have observed, listened and considered all of this in my approach.
I believe everyone should be able to benefit from some help and guidance, which I would love to provide – this advice should never be out of reach to anyone.
One house, one room, one chair, one paint colour, I can help with any project or query however large or small – nothing is unimportant or trivial to me.
Whether you’re looking to refresh your holiday cottage, reimagine your own home or a particular space, de-clutter or prepare your house for sale, I am a great listener……why not get in touch for an initial chat?

what to expect
We will start with a pre-consultation phone call to talk about your ideas.
I will then come out to visit you to understand your requirements. From this I will put together a proposal for you to consider and a clear plan of how to move forward.
If you like my ideas, we will meet again to discuss my level of involvement.
Pricing
Pricing will be clearly stated on the proposal and will vary on the scale and complexity of the project.
I charge an initial visit fee of £75.
I then charge £100 for the written proposal of which £75 is refundable should I undertake the work.
